Open Day and Plant Sale

This year’s Open Day and Plant Sale went brilliantly with a huge turn out.

The weather was fantastic, as was the atmosphere, and as several people commented, “ This is the Club at its best ! ”.

So, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed with all their hard work and preparation that went into making the day such a terrific success:

• Distributing 1000 leaflets.

• Organising the Plant Sale, dealing with the public, answering questions, selling the plants, and taking payments.

• Donating, baking, cooking and selling food and refreshments.

• Giving introductory lessons in bowling.

• Organising the Raffle, and the "Bowls on the Green" Quiz.

• Working so hard behind the bar.

Also, a big thank you to everyone who donated so generously with some amazing prizes for the Raffle and Quiz.

Well done everyone involved, and to everyone who contributed.

It really was a fantastic group effort, and has generated a substantial income for the club.
